Stay & Train vs Board & Train
Dogs learn best in a familiar environment where they feel safe…..their home.
When you drop a dog off at a board & train program, their whole world is turned upside down. It’s scary. They have no idea if you’re coming back for them, they don’t sleep well, there are many distractions…all making learning challenging.
Even worse, many board & train programs use aversive techniques (pain, fear, or punishment), which all studies have been proven to cause and/or exasperate anxiety and/or aggression in many dogs.
With Stay & Train, the trainer is at your home, going through a typical day, either with you present, or able to check in via cameras at all times.
